October 23, 2006 – Spartanburg, SC – William A. Vall has joined SwaimBrown Consulting, LLC, as a Senior Solutions Consultant.  His primary responsibility is to identify, design, develop, and implement individual software solutions to the meet the various requirements of SwaimBrown clients across the Southeast.  

A current resident of Spartanburg and Murrells Inlet, SC, and native of Kalamazoo, MI, Vall attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and holds various APICS certifications.

With 30 years of experience in the field of information technology, his specific professional focus is the application of technology in the manufacturing, boating, and automotive industries.  Vall specializes in Manufacturing Best Practices implementations as well as Six Sigma Process Improvement.  He also is proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementations.

Vall previously was employed by GKN Driveline North America Inc. as a Senior Staff Analyst and by Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI and Ft. Pierce, FL, as an Information Technology Manager. Additionally, he worked as Senior Analyst for Magna Donnelly and Prince Corporation (JCI), both in Holland, MI.

Vall, a member of the Association for Operations Management, joins the SwaimBrown Consulting team of engineers, all of whom are qualified to design, implement, and support network infrastructure plans.  SwaimBrown Consulting helps small and mid-size businesses to analyze and improve business processes and thereby streamline operations.
