MCSE / IT Consultant
SwaimBrown Consulting is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team of professional consultants and support our growing client base. The successful candidate will be part of a team of experienced consultants working closely together to support small and medium sized companies ranging from $1 - $500 million in annual revenue. Be a part of a winning team that provides state-of-the-art ERP, Network and Infrastructure solutions for mid-market companies.
The ideal candidate MUST possess the following skills:
- Current, verifiable MCSE certification - Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Current, verifiable MCDBA will also be considered)
- Minimum 5 years verifiable work experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions
- Strong understanding of Microsoft products including Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003, SQL Server 2000, Active Directory and desktop operating environments
- Verifiable experience providing professional consulting services to clients
- Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP based networking, firewalls and VPNs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project management experience
- Desire to expand technical knowledge and skills
- Ability to foster professional growth of self and others, self motivated and managed, strong customer support skills, exhibit professional behavior, and contributes to firm growth and goals
- Motivation to learn and adapt quickly to new products and technologies
- Ability to understand and document business processes
- Ability to strictly adhere to an implementation methodology that emphasizes documentation and clear communication with both the client and team members
- Experience with ERP, CRM, Citrix, Cisco, .NET, C#, backup/recovery, security a plus
- Experience with SQL Server 2000, OLAP, Analysis Services, and data warehousing a plus
Job responsibilities will include:
- Design, specify, configure, sell, install, and support infrastructure solutions
- Willingness to work hard and excel by consistently reaching 75% utilization
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to network access, use, support, security, and backup
- Research and evaluate new technologies
- Install and test software upgrades
- Proactive and consistent interaction with existing client base
- Install and configure applications
- Mentor and guide fellow team members
